Spartan comes to Snowmass for the first time ever in August 2019. Spartan Snowmass features a series of obstacle course races (OCR) testing endurance and abilities of competitors of all ages and skill levels. The event is based in Snowmass Base Village at the Spartan Base Camp, while obstacles run on Snowmass Ski Area. Friday night features a welcome party for participants and non-participants to enjoy and learn about the races.
